Short answer: AI-generated original music that you exclusively license does not enter the SOCAN/SACEM/Re:Sound repertoire — there is nothing for them to collect on. Long answer: AI music IP is a fast-moving area. We provide a written legal position with every Pro and Suite contract, and we run a quarterly compliance audit with a French + Quebec law firm. Final formal legal opinion is targeted for Q3 2026. Until then, treat our position as "well-grounded but not bulletproof" — most venues stop their Entandem renewal anyway because the savings cover any worst-case retro-payment ten times over. We update every customer immediately if the legal landscape shifts.
You re-run the ambiance survey, free, as many times as you want. The AI doesn't get offended. In our 5-venue pilot wave (Marseille + Paris + Montréal), the average venue re-tuned twice in the first 30 days, then never again.
